High octane. Following the lead of our heavy-duty Guru S HD reel, the Speedster S HD incorporates a full-cage design to capture line without failure. The full-cage design is the solution for thin-diameter running lines that are inclined to escape through spool/line-guard gaps. Speedster S HD and Speedster S have a taller and narrower format compared to other reels in our lineup.
The dimensions of structure and function inspire beauty. An enhanced spool machining technique—focusing material only where it’s needed—is the reason why this version is significantly lighter and higher performing than its predecessor. The HD version is a heavy-duty, full-frame reel.
