This high performance, high quality, fly-fishing reel has been specifically assembled for Bow River Troutfitters by Galvan Reels. Using the full cage Galvan G.E.N. 3.7 we have put Torque 6 spools on this frame increasing the spool capacity to accommodate the backing, running line and heads used for trout spey fishing. The closed frame design prevents slim running lines from escaping the frame which is a possibility with open frame designs. A three pawl drag engagement is also incorporated to provide ultimate drag strength and rotation.
A clean and classy unit in gunmetal grey for your trout sized two-hander! Don't lose that two foot Bow River rocket to a slipped running line. This would also make a great reel for general streamer fishing on a 6 weight. There's a reason Galvan reels are a shop favorite.
